Paralegal Needed

Plaintiff’s Personal Injury firm in Charleston searching for a paralegal with at least two (2) years’ experience. This is a full-time position with salary DOE. Office hours are flexible 40 hours/week Monday through Friday.

This position requires a great attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail with the ability to be part of a team. You should be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), case management software (Needles experience is a plus). You must also be able to draft demands, pleadings, answer discovery and schedule depositions amongst other skills. You should be familiar with State Courts, Federal US District Court and understand the insurance claims process. You should be comfortable talking with clients both in person and on the phone. Multi-tasking, attention to detail and organizational skills a must. You must pass a background check.

Duties include:
* Case and document management
* Draft demands and disbursement sheets
* Draft pleadings and discovery
* Prepare for hearings, arbitrations, mediations and trials
* Assist with calendars, docketing and related litigation work.

Primary Responsibilities:
